UNIVERSAL MICRO PULVERISER is an "Impact Mill" i.e. Size Reduction taking place at single solid surface.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:

Micro Pulveriser consists of a high speed rotor, revolving inside a stationary cylindrical grinding chamber. The shaft is horizontal and the 'T' shaped hammers / beaters are pivotted onto a series of rotor discs. These discs are key-fitted on the horizontal shaft. Thus, when the shaft rotates, each hammer is allowed to swing freely on its own pivot, allowing it to take its own position due to the centrifugal action.

The particles of feed entering the grinding zone are sucked into the chamber and are subjected to a grinding force due to the impact of the piovetted hammers working at high speeds.

The chamber is serrated on the inner surface, acting as a stationary anvil plate, against which the particles are repeatedly thrown and broken into pieces. The particles thus reflected by the serrated chamber are subjected to a hammering action by the rotating beaters and are pushed through the grate or screen which covers the discharge opening.

Based on the speed of rotation, the type of hammers and the screen employed, different grades of fineness of the product are achieveable.

The rate of feed of the product also plays an important role in determining the final mesh size of the pulverised output.

The throughput is determined by the initial feed characteristics, rate of feed and final mesh size desired.
